Craig P. Kvale
Collaborative Family Law Attorney
Craig P. Kvale is an attorney who has practiced law in the State of Ohio for approximately twenty years before both state and federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. His primary areas of practice include commercial and business litigation, as well as family law.
Craig has prevailed before juries in both state and federal courts. With extensive experience in complex business and tort litigation involving a wide range of personal and business disputes, his practice focuses largely on resolving matters for small and middle-market companies, as well as non-litigation and out-of-state law firms that represent them.
In addition to his business litigation practice, Craig also handles a broad range of family law matters, with an emphasis on resolving cases in a streamlined and dignified manner. He is a past President of the Center for Principled Family Advocacy (2006) and has advanced training in Collaborative Law dispute resolution. Craig is a founding member of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping clients reach mutually beneficial resolutions to family law matters through the Collaborative Law process.
Craig was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1991, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 1992, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 1995, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in 1996. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University and his Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School in 1991.
